Do you think you have a flair for sales? Do you enjoy convincing the people around you? No doubt about it, you’ve found your path: the vocational baccalaureate in Sales and Commercial Trades (option A: Management and Animation of the Commercial Space or option B: Customer Prospecting and Commercial Offer Development) is made for you!
The Vocational Baccalaureate in Sales and Commercial Trades provides students with solid knowledge and skills in sales, customer relations, and client retention within a business context.

Accessible after completion of Year 10 (3ème), students begin in the professional stream “Customer Relations Professions,” then continue in Year 11 and 12 (Première and Terminale) to specialize in either the Sales and Commercial Trades or Customer Relations fields.

COURSE CONTENT

The objectives of the vocational baccalaureate in Sales and Commercial Trades, option A (Management and Animation of the Commercial Space), are to provide skills focused on the animation and management of the sales area. The graduate must demonstrate a strong sense of customer service, as well as good listening and communication skills. Working within a commercial team, their role involves restocking, sales, and commercial management. This sales employee, who may work in any type of retail unit—physical or online—offers customers products suited to their needs, under the supervision of a manager.

The objectives of the vocational baccalaureate in Sales and Commercial Trades, option B (Customer Prospecting and Commercial Offer Development), are to develop skills centered on negotiation, customer loyalty, and commercial management. Graduates typically work as sales representatives. With experience, they may progress to team management positions. They may also become independent commercial agents, representing several companies and earning commissions. The products or services they handle generally do not require highly technical knowledge. To achieve their goals, they prospect for potential clients through mail, phone, or direct contact, maintaining and updating a computerized database of prospects and customers.

Since September 2021, students may enroll in the optional professional unit “Sports Sector” (UF2S), provided they have completed at least a 6-week internship in a sports organization. Graduates who earn this optional unit automatically receive credit for certain units of the BP JEPS diploma.
