The CDI
(Documentation and Information Center)

The CDI (Documentation and Information Center) is open to all students of the Saint-Louis school complex, as well as members of the educational community. Whether on the Middle School site, the High School site, or the Vocational High School site, the librarian teachers welcome students, manage documentary resources, lead lessons alone or in co-teaching, and organize educational and cultural activities. Two CDI locations form the CDI of the Saint-Louis school complex.
The CDI is a Center of Knowledge and Culture. It is envisioned as a central hub of our institution. The entire educational community can benefit from the available resources. Mmes Hans and Rabault welcome, advise, and contribute to each student's Media Education.

Each year, the CDI participates in “Press and Media Week at School“, an educational operation during which the CDI receives about fifty magazines and newspapers, allowing students to discover the variety of the press covering all topics and the differences in how information is treated depending on the publication. A reading club is available to all students (registration is mandatory and must be done with the librarian teacher).

The CDI has computers, tablets, and various multimedia tools. It allows borrowing of fiction, documentaries, and periodicals. It is a place dedicated to group work, documentary research, media discovery, and the pleasure of reading. It promotes autonomy and respect for others.
It is also a place open to the outside, regularly hosting exhibitions, meetings, and activities.
Finally, the CDI is accessible online. Through the E-sidoc portal, students can follow its news, access its catalog, and explore a variety of digital resources.
